Dr. Vikram Jain, M.S. had his basic medical training (MBBS) from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, India. He did his masters in Ophthalmic surgery from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal. He currently manages the Glaucoma department of our hospital.
Dr. Harish Shetty
Dr. Harish Shetty, MS has completed his MBBS from KMC, Mangalore followed by MS Ophthalmology from JJM Medical College in Davangere. He has done his fellowship in medical and surgical retinas at Prasad Netralaya.
Dr. Paresh Poojary
Dr. Paresh Poojary had his basic medical training (MBBS) from K.S. Hedge, Medical Academy, Mangalore. He did his DOMS (Diploma in Ophthalmic Medicine and Surgery) at M.S. Ramayya Medical College, Bangalore.
Dr. Jacob Chacko
Dr. Jacob Chacko, M.D., had his basic medical training (MBBS) from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore. He later pursued his M.D. from the Prestigious R.P. Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences of AIIMS. He then studied Vitreo Retinal Surgery for 3 years.
Dr. Shamanth Shetty
Dr. Shetty completed his MBBS from K.S. Hegde Medical Academy, Mangalore. He then sought his M.S from JJMNC Davangere and pursued a fellowship in Phacoemulsification and Refractive Surgery in Prasad Netralaya and is currently a consultant in our clinic.
Dr. Hegde Sharat Shivramaiah
Dr. Hegde Sharat Shivramaiah completed his MBBS in 2010. He then continued to pursue his MS in Ophthalmology. Soon after, he did his fellowship in Vitreo Retinal Surgery in LVPEI from 2014-2016.
He currently works in our hospital as a Vitreoretinal Specialist.
Dr Shashidhar
Dr.Shashidhar has completed his MBBS from KS Hegde Medical Academy. Then he did his PG in Opthalmology from Mysore medical college.
He completed his fellowship in phaco refractive surgery, from Prasad Netralaya, Udupi.
Dr. Shibin Girish P
Dr. Girish P completed his MBBS from K.S.Hegde Medical Academy in Mangalore. He then pursued an MS Ophthalmology from KMC, Mangalore followed by a fellowship in Vitreoretinal Surgery from Prasad Netralaya, Udupi. His focus mainly lies in Medical and Surgical Retinas and Cataracts.
Dr. Nithyananda Nayak
Dr. Nithyananda Nayak, D.O.M.S. Completed his basic medical training (MBBS) from Vijayanagar Institute of Medical Sciences, Bellary, India. He acquired a Diploma in Ophthalmic Surgery from Mysore Medical College, Mysore. He manages the community Ophthalmology department at Prasad Netralaya.
Dr. Shilpa Gopalkirshna Rao
Dr Shilpa Rao did her basic medical training from Father Muller Medical College, Mangalore and her MS Ophthalmology from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal. She completed her fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismology from Aravind Eye Hospital, Coimbatore.
Dr.Pooja Shetty
Dr Pooja Adappa Shetty had her basic medical training (MBBS) from A J institute of Medical Science followed by MS Ophthalmology from Yenepoya Medical college. She later underwent phacoemulsification training from Lotus eye hospital Juhu Mumbai and worked as consultant at Bhaktivedant Hospital and Research Institute Mumbai for sometime.
